Membership

Prospective members are welcome to arrange a visit and maybe play a set or two by prior arrangement with Steve (steve.acorn49@gmail.com, 07769695722).

Tennis balls are provided free of charge to full adult members for matches. Members can use the ball machine by prior arrangement with a committee member.

We are happy to advise on purchasing tennis rackets, restringing, shoes and clothing. Acorn clothing and hats are available at extremely reasonable prices.

With the agreement of a committee member, guests can join us up to 3 times a year at a fee of £5 per visit for each person. This will be deducted from the membership fee if they join the club.

(The fees are reduced appropriately for members joining after 1 July, 2024)

Adult membership (18 years and over)
Full £150 Can play in all available court times including social play sessions, tournaments and teams matches if selected. Contact the club for further information.
Restricted £85 Can play at off peak times on weekends (i.e. not during busy social play times) and during most evenings until dusk. Can play in tournaments and team matches if selected. Contact the club for further information.
Student membership (18 years and over)
Played Up Students £85 Same benefits as a full time adult.
Restricted Students £75 Same benefits as restricted adult.
Junior membership (Under 18 years old)
Played Up Junior £75 Can play with adults during social play; enter tournaments and if selected, play for teams.
Junior £60 Can play at off peak times on weekends (i.e. not during busy social play times) and during most evenings until dusk. Can play in tournaments and team matches if selected. Contact the club for further information.
Family membership
Family discount 15% discount Two full adult members and one or more junior or student members qualify for this reduction.

Coaching


Our club coach is George (Gigi) Cristea. He is qualified to LTA level 3 which enables him to coach beginners and improvers individually and in groups.

George is highly regarded by many children and adults alike. He has won the club's singles and doubles championships on numerous occasions and has also achieved successful results in external singles and doubles competitions.

George is also captain of our successful Men's first team, who have achieved promotions from Division 9 to Division 2 in the Middlesex North West Summer League.
